Society meetings take place at 7pm in the
United Reform Church, Highgate, Kendal.

KENDAL ART SOCIETY  has been in existence since 1931.

The Society serves its members in various ways:
    .    an annual exhibition for all members to submit work for selection
    .    evening meetings throughout the year to work together and share practice
    .    portrait sessions and life classes
    .    summer days and evenings sketching/painting outside
    .    talks on various artists and movements
    .    appraisals of members’ work by professional artists
    .    demonstrations from members or other practising artists
    .    gallery visits
    .    an annual gathering, usually early in the year
