Winsor & Newton Designers Gouache - Product News

Our Designers Gouache range has undergone an extensive review in our research and development laboratory to make it even better. The range has been updated and now offers a wide and balanced spectrum of 85 colours (82 colours are available in 14ml tubes).

Each colour has been specially formulated to offer the greatest choice and flexibility, ensuring that all artists can choose the best palette to suit their work.

The range of 85 colours includes 17 new exciting bold colours, including 3 cadmiums and 2 ultra bright operas. We have also modified 26 colours improving their brilliance, permanence ratings and mixing abilities. The remaining 42 colours are unchanged proving they cannot be bettered.    

In addition to reviewing the formulations we have also added additional information to the tube labels, such as permanence and opacity ratings and pigment information. All of which is intended to help artists when they are selecting the colour they need.

The sets in the range have also been updated with fresh new packaging, which shows off the key attributes of Designers Gouache e.g. vibrant opaque water colour
